Walking in Singapore + Zoo (click to see photos from the Zoo)
We had 2 full days in Singapore on the way to Bali. It is not to much time to see all sightseeings but enough to taste the city. We liked one very much. The city itself is quite expensive but who cares we are on vacation :). Singapore Zoo is the best Zoo (in terms animals from places with warm climate) I have seen so far - plan at least one full day to visit soo. the Zoo worth your time on 100%. We stayed in Swissôtel The Stamford (it used to be the highest building in the World) - very good one. Note you can get cheaper hotel but be ready that your room will be a box size. Pay attention to the room size when you search for hotels!! Well .. walked in the center, visited Little India ... do not forget to visit Universal Studios Singapore .. There is quite interesting skyscraper in Singapore Marina Bay Sands Tower - basically it is set of theree skyscrapers with SHIP as a roof :). Quite impressive! Marina Bay also has a football (socсer) field placed right on the water (so it is swimming soccer field). Next year (2012) Singapore will have open Gardens by the Bay - the plan to to it in Avatar (the movie) style. We saw the constructions - lokks like very interesting (I want to see it when it will be finished (summer 2012)) ..
